About the Design | ☽ Moonflowers ☾
This illustration is inspired by the phases of the moon and moonflowers. Moonflowers bloom at dusk and shine under the moonlight, closing again when morning comes. These flowers symbolize growth and blossoming during dark times. Like moonflowers, our lives have both light and dark periods. Even in the darkest of times, we remain beautiful individuals capable of growth and learning.
The original illustration was first sketched on paper and then developed digitally. It incorporates analog materials and textures, such as paint textures and handmade marbled paper.
