The color of night and darkness. Black is often associated with evil and death. However, it also embodies elegance, mystery, and dignified power. In magic, black (in my view) is not connected to ‘black magic.’ Instead, it represents banishment, confrontation, and protection; it’s about defending yourself against negative energies. It is also a color used for exploring your own shadow aspects and performing shadow work.
