A Glimpse into 2025 – New Chapters and Inspiring Plans - SB Designs Creations

The past year has been one of the most remarkable years of my life. In 2024, I became a mother – an experience that has changed everything. As I learned how to balance my new role as a parent with my passion for SB Designs Creations, I made a major business decision. I chose to shift my focus entirely to my webshop and take a break from events. This change not only brought peace but also opened new doors for growth and inspiration.

With a completely revamped webshop, now also multilingual (although I still need to finalize some translations here and there), I’m ready for an exciting 2025. My goals are ambitious, but I’m really looking forward to making my dreams come true and taking you along on this journey. I aim to provide a realistic insight into my life as a creative entrepreneur in a dynamic field.

January is a month for me where I really need to ease into things. Emotionally, it feels like we're still in the middle of winter and still in a state of winter rest. I notice this in myself through the lack of energy and the need to turn inward.

Now that the foundation is solid, it's time to look ahead. Here are my main plans and goals for this year:

International Growth

My webshop is now available in English and German, and I’m still working hard on the translations. This year, I want to expand my reach in Germany and English-speaking regions. The idea that my designs and products can inspire people worldwide gives me so much energy.

Exciting Collaboration

Although I can't reveal too much yet, the foundation for a special collaboration is in place. This project feels like a perfect match, and I can't wait to share it with you later.

New Creations

This year is also focused on new products:

A new card set.
The release of the long-awaited elements workbook.
Calendar news, more on this later.
A special project around dowsing.
Spirit Animals!
The addition of unique illustrative products, with a strong focus on hand-drawn (no way AI will be involved here. I strive to protect my authenticity at all costs).

And I will continue to stay open to opportunities and possibilities that arise throughout the year or come my way. 🙂

Naast nieuwe creaties wil ik mijn klanten en volgers meer betrekken bij het creatieve proces. Via social media en mijn nieuwsbrief wil ik een kijkje achter de schermen geven en jullie meenemen in het verhaal achter mijn ontwerpen. Ergens blijft dat spannend. Want als je veel deelt over je plannen en ideeën, kunnen die ook (makkelijker) gekopieerd worden. Heel eerlijk? Dit is een van de punten voor dit jaar die ik meer los wil laten. Het kost teveel energie om me druk te maken over wat anderen wel of niet doen. Gaan ze echt te ver? Dan geef ik het uit handen en volgen er juridische stappen. Maar is het enkel irritant, dan quote ik graag een van de lievelingsliedjes van mijn dochter; 'Let it Be'. Het is ontzettend belangrijk om je eigen vrede en rust te beschermen en dat is iets waar ik me nog sterker voor wil inzetten.
